Hall of Remembrance

Each year at Dakota Campmeeting, the Dakota Conference pauses to remember members who have passed away during the previous year. The Hall of Remembrance, presented through a slideshow, provides space for reflection, gratitude, and quiet remembrance.

As we view names and photos, we acknowledge lives shaped by faith and service, and we recognize the role each person played within their family, church, and community. This moment allows our Conference family to remember together and to honor the legacy of those who have gone before us.

We remember with sorrow, but also with confidence in the hope found in Christ and the promise of resurrection. Our faith assures us that death is not the end, and that God holds the future with care and purpose.

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away” (Revelation 21:4, NKJV).
