Dakota Welcomes New VP of Finance

After several months of searching for the right person, God brought Arlo and Sharon Heinrich to the attention of the Dakota Conference. Born in Jamestown, North Dakota, Heinrich prayerfully considered returning to the Dakotas as the new Vice President of Finance. He accepted, and was officially elected by delegates at the recent constituency session in Bismarck on June 14, 2009.

Growing up on a farm north of Gackle, North Dakota, Heinrich graduated from Sheyenne River Academy in 1976. He met and married his wife Sharon while in Lincoln, Nebraska (both attended Union College); they have been married for 23 years. They have one son, Kendall, now 18.

Heinrich has served as an auditor for the General Conference Auditing Service, Treasurer for Enterprise Academy, and most recently an Accountant for Florida Hospital Zephyrhills in Florida. He enjoys music, playing the piano and bass guitar, and has been involved in praise groups. Sharon has a background in business and fundraising, directing the Florida Hospital Zephyrhills Foundation for the past 11 years, which included a successful $3 million campaign for a Heart Center. Their son, Kendall, plans to study engineering at Walla Walla University.

The Dakota Conference is pleased to welcome Heinrich as a part of their team.
